Investment: Shares (interest) offered for acquisition in International householding trade
Our client has been very successfully running an international timber trade from its branch in the Netherlands for about 20 years. The traded wood species are oak, beech, ash, beech, poplar and pine.
Client controls the process of purchasing and selling from the Netherlands. He buys the self-selected wood from European suppliers, mainly in France and Germany, and sells and ships it to customers in Asia, (China, Vietnam, Indonesia).
These are mostly saw logs for the parquet and furniture industry. Spruce is used locally in construction. Customers are mostly parquet (or top layer) manufacturers, local sawmills and local traders Some customers make complete finished products for export to Europe, others make only the top layer which is sold locally to parquet factories.

- He has planned to sell a 20% equity stake in his company to an investor. The acquisition price for this is indicated at € 1.6 Mio, with payment of which can be made partly through an earn-out model.
