Subject: The acquisition of two private companies (activities in the operating company on the one hand, and inventory, transport vehicles and real estate in the Holding Company on the other hand), including 100% of the companies’ shares.

Reason for the sale: The continuous growth of the family business and the age of the current owner (60+) together form the reason for the sale. No successor can be found in the immediate vicinity, either in the owner’s family (children) or within the company itself (employees). With the sale, the owner hopes that the company’s further potential will be optimally utilised.

Profile Company: For decades, the company has specialised in the purchase and sale of potatoes, vegetables and fruit. With its delivery of a total assortment of quality products, the company has a strong reputation with a large number of regular customers. The company mainly delivers to farm shops, restaurant suppliers and specialty greengrocers.

Employees: Along with the DMS, the company also has 60 employees (approximately 50 FTE). The DMS has limited involvement in those areas in which the MT has operational control.

Location: The company is located in the southern Netherlands and operates from a spacious and well-equipped commercial property. The turnover potential can be capitalised on with the current location.
